Best Danceable Love Songs

We're halfways through January, February is just right aroung the corner. February is known as the month of love thanks to a little day called St. Valentines day. People go out of their way to impress their loved one or go out of their way to find a special someone. Well what better way to do so than with a playlist of pure love songs that you can dance too.

I'm crowning Cheryl Cole as the QUEEN of Danceable Love Songs. Her first album delivered what is in my opinion, the deepest love song ever. Cheryl cole teamed up with Will.I.Am. to create the masterpiece that is, 3 words.

Next up is another Cheryl Cole song this one off her second album Messy Little Raindrops. She teamed up with Travie McCoy to create Yeah Yeah which is the perfect song to dedicate to a new love.

This is why Cheryl Cole is the Queen of these types of songs. Another great song by her is Promise This which topped the charts back when it released. Its a beautiful song that can melt someones heart.

When you think Kelis you automatically think sexyness and milkshakes lol. Well in her latest album Fleshtone she released a song tittled 4th of July which is so deep that it is my all time favorite song. Knowing what was going on while she wrote it (divorce from Nas) made it all more intense.

David Guetta is King of Dance Music so when he teamed up with Jennifer Hudson we didn't know what to expect. Now that Night Of Your Life has released we see how great his beat wraps around Jennifer's amazing soultry voice. Dedicating this to someone may result in the night of YOUR life lol.

Next up is Amazing which is amazing lol. One of Inna's succesful singles which beautiful lyrics. Its the perfect song to make your partner feel AMAZING.

Selena gomez's first major hit was Naturally which is an amazing song. "You are the thunder and I am the lightning" is just another way of saying you complete me. I'm still waiting for my thunder :( lol

Morgan Page is a genious at creating dance beats and having amazing artists do vocals. Fight For You is a beautiful song.

Robyn is an amazing singer that is barely getting the recognition she deserves, better late than never. In her album Body Talk we saw diffrent sides of her. Most memorable to me was her letting her gaurd down and opening up on the track Indestructable. Let that special someone know how you'll love them.

Wynter Gordon's debut album only released in Australia which is a shame. Its full of amazing dance hits. Shocked when I heard Rumba, I didn't think wynter could go outside of sexy and naughty but she proved me wrong. Rumba is so amazing that its even my ringtone.

Nothing says I Love You Like A Love Song, which happens to be the tittle of the Selena Gomez hit. The tittle pretty much says it all lol.

If you know me then you know that I find it hard to think of Britney Spears as an artist but in her latest album Femme Fatale something caught my eye or should I say ear lol. Trip To Your Heart is a cute little song that I just can't resist. Its the best song off that album.

A world wide anthem for lovers around the world, Bad Romance by Lady GaGa is an amazing song. Pretty much says I don't care if its a good or bad relationship I just wanna be with you.

Don't be scared of the name Natalia Kills, sure she killed her boyfriend but that was after she took him to Wonderland. "I don't believe in fairy tales but I believe in you and me" Is a perfect saying for that King/Queen in your life.

Leona Lewis is known for her amazing ballads but she took the world by surprise by putting some beats with her voice. Her latest Collide is a new side of Leona and might be the beginning to your new relationship.

Well their you have it,The best danceable songs to put some moves on you St. Valentines Day. Now go out their and conquer the heart of someone special. P.S. I don't think Danceable is a word but I didn't know how else to name them haha Goodluck everyone <3

Ryan Adames Live

Here's a video of Ryan Adames's EPIC performance. As you can see his dancing is amazing, singing is amazing and he is beautiful. Love Ryan he is just so amazing. Ryan Adames Bang at Club MJs

New Music

Dev has teamed up with Timbaland again to releashe his single Don't Hurt It. The track was produced by The Cataracs. Its super sexy "don't hurt it just please" I'm loving it, what do you think?

Roman Reloaded Pushed Back

Nicki Minaj's sophmore album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded was said to release on valentines day but she just announced today the her album is being pushed back to April 3rd. She didn't give much detail but it is rumored that the reason behind it was to promote the album more. She has released two singles off the album Roman in Moscow and Stupid Hoe.

The video for Stupid Hoe released hours ago. Both of those singles failed to crate much buzz and haven't done so good. I personally disliked stupid hoe. It was very repetative and childish and I must say that I'm dissapointed from what she has released so far.

She did tweet saying more surprises will be out before the album so hope she steps it up and has another #1 album.

Amazing Covers

Music industry has changed a lot since Youtube became such a popular site. Many artist have post videos up and have gotten record deals soon after. Perfect examples of this are Mac Miller, Greyson Chance and Justin. Not only are they posting original material but they also post themselves singing to someone elses song in other words a cover. Theirs millions of covers up on youtube some are good and some are not good at all. It takes strengh to upload a cover on youtube knowing that the criticism you'll receive may not always be good but these have made a great impression for me.

Above all stands the Australian/Greek goddess Vassy. She is the Queen of Covers and has a ton of them up on her channel. Something special about her covers is that they are acoustics. Tho she is critized for her accent I am a firm believer that those that post mean comments are just intimidated by her amazing voice and beauty. When has an accent hurt anyone? It just makes her that more exotic. I still haven't heard 1 cover that I didn't like and that's because their is not a single bad one. Vassy also has her original work up their such as History, 50K Stars and my personal favorite Another Sleepless Night. So she is not just beautiful, She is also an amazing singer and writter. She released an Ep on itunes tittled The Acoustics which is a collection of her fan favorite covers. I can write a whole essay on how great Vassy is but ill stop here lol. Questions tho, Why is she not winning Grammy's and getting the recognition she deserves? I hate how the music industry always plays it safe with the same old artists give me something new, give me VASSY.

Another great cover on Youtube is Kimberly Cole's version of Lil Wayne's How To Love. I must admit the original was a mess. His voice was so not good for the song. Kimberly switched it up tho, She created a dance version of it. Its amazing here's How To Love by Kimberly Cole.

Radio stations constantly play Stereo Hearts by Gym Class Heros and Adam Levine but in my opinion Gym Class Heros kills it. I only like Adam's part. Two amazing ladies havve gone great covers to this song Anjulie and Pastele. Anjulie's version is the female version of it. Using the same beats and keeping Adam Levine's part in it. Unfortunately I couldn't find a video on youtube with it but there's free downloads just google Anjulie Stereo Hearts mp3 and you'll find it. Now Pastele changed the beat a bit and changed several lyrics. A major diffrence between the two are the voices, Anjulie's is more edgier while Pastele's has a soultry feel to it. Their both amazing covers that I love, here's Pastele's Stereo Hearts.

Lastly is a cover by songstress Adele. Adele performed a live cover of one of my favorite artists (Cheryl Cole) #1 single Promise This. The orginal is a dance hit while Adele's is a ballad with back up singers. Its ana amazing cover enjoy Promise This by Adele.

Ladi Dadi

Steve Aoki teamed up with songstress Wynter Gordon for his latest Ladi Dadi. I love this song, the beat is so sick and her voice works perfectly with the beat. Definetly a must have so go get it.

Most Anticipated Albums of 2012

Adam Lambert
Title: Trespassing
Due out: March 20

The American Idol alum has defied critics and taken the music industry by storm since coming in second on season 8 and for good reason: Adam Lambert brought the glam, the vocal chops and the show with every performance. The 29-year-old singer's debut album, For Your Entertainment, which yielded several hit singles and a successful world tour, is thisclose to platinum certification in the U.S. , which puts the pressure on Trespassing, Lambert’s highly-anticipated (to put it mildly) second studio album (in between, he also released an acoustic EP, a collection of remixes and a live album).
What can fans expect? More of that stupefying upper register, as the album’s first single, “Better Than I Know Myself,” let on. That song was written in part by Claude Kelly and Dr. Luke. Other songwriters and musicians believed to have contributed tracks, licks and lyrics include Nile Rodgers -- of Chic and '80s- era David Bowie and Madonna fame -- Bonnie McKee, Ryan Tedder and Pharrell Williams. Back in March 2011, Lambert forecasted to THR that the album would be “less campy” and “more primal” here ’s hoping that animal instinct is ready to roar.

Nicki Minaj
Title: Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded.
Due Out: Feb. 14

On the one-year anniversary of her debut release Pink Friday, Nicki Minaj told fans that they could expect her sophomore effort to hit stores Feb. 14, historically one of the best album- selling days of the year. In the style of Jay-Z 's The Blueprint and Lil Wayne's Tha Carter records, Minaj has titled her next album Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded. The name stems from her highly popular (and male) alter ego who grew to prominence on the track "Roman 's Revenge" featuring Eminem. To date, Minaj has released two tracks from her album titled "Roman in Moscow" and "Stupid Hoe," produced by DJ Diamond Kuts. The album's full track listing is expected to be revealed Jan. 19. Minaj’s debut effort topped the Billboard 200, R&B /Hip -Hop and Rap Albums charts and was certified platinum in the U.S . Pink Friday also enjoyed a fairly successful awards run, winning the American Music Award for best rap/hip -hop album in 2011
and earning the rapper Grammy nominations for best rap
album, new artist and rap performance for her Drake
collaboration, “Moment 4 Life.” The album additionally
spawned the hit singles “Check It Out” (feat. Will.i.am ),
“Fly” (feat. Rihanna) and “Super Bass,” a deluxe edition bonus
track that THR named the best song of 2011.

Dev
Tittle: The Night The Sun Came Up
Due Out: March 27

The Night the Sun Came Up is the debut studio album by
American recording artist Dev. It was released on September 2,2011 by Universal Republic. Dev worked exclusively with American alternative hip hop production duo The Cataracs, who helmed the production of the entire album along with co- writing songs with Dev. The production process of the album took place mainly in January 2011 and is currently continuing as the North American release date for the album was delayed from September 20, 2011 to January 10, 2012 as per Dev's request to add more songs to the album, however, Amazon.com announced the album would be pushed back again to March 27, 2012. The first two singles Bass Down Low and In The Dark have been great hits. The third single was recently released and features Enrique Inglesias the tittle of the track is Naked. Can't wait for Dev to make her mark.

Lady GaGa
Tittle:TBA
Due Out: TBA

Lady GaGa released her last abum Born This Way on May 23, 2011 which sold a million copies per month since its release. GaGa is no stranger to the Grammys and has been claiming them as the GaGa grammy's since her 1st album The Fame. Since then she has been nominated for album of the year, 3 years in a row and I'm sure she will not loose the chance of making it 4 years in a row. Therefore she has to release a new album by the mids of 2012. I'm hoping my prediction is correct since she has already said she was working on it.

Kelis
Tittle:TBA
Due Out: 2012

In a September 2011 interview, Kelis said that her sixth studio album would be finished "in the next few weeks" and that it would be released in early 2012. Signed to Will.I.Am's branch of Interscope I'm thinking it'll be another dance record. Her last album Fleshtone is in my opinion the BEST album EVER. It was beautifully written and is a true masterpiece. Written while Kelis was pregnate and going through a divorce, it contained some deep lyrics. The album was unfortunately a flop not selling many albums. The singles however did better. Acapella topped Billboards Dance Charts and 4th of July was in the top 10 of the same chart. Due to theh lack of publicity Fleshtone didn't get much recognition which dosent take anything away from it being a masterpiece. If you're like me and love lyrics then Fleshtone is a must have. Since Fleshtone she worked with Calvin Harris on Bounce and No Security with the Crockers. I'm eager for her new album to release.

Jump

Is what the latest song from The Cube Guys ft Luciana will make you do and it is also the tittle of the track. Its a fun dance song and Me Gusta Gusta ;) lol. Definetly a fun song that has a lot going on but it is all meshed well. Enjoy

Nadia Ali

Is a Pakistani-American singer-songwriter , born in Libya and raised in Queens, New York . She gained attention as the frontwoman and songwriter of the band iiO, after their 2001 hit " Rapture" reached No. 2 on the UK Singles Chart. The song also charted across several countries in Europe.

Their 2006 single, "Is It Love? ", reached the top of the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Chart. After embarking on a solo career in 2005, Ali became successful as an oft-requested vocalist in electronic dance music. She released her debut album Embers in 2009. Critics praised her unique songwriting, which combined electronica with ballads, Eastern and acoustic music. Three singles from the album reached the top-ten of the Billboard Hot Dance Club Play Chart, including the No. 1 hit, " Love Story".

The song was alsonominated at the International Dance Music Awards at theWinter Music Conference, while "Fantasy" was nominated for a Grammy award. She has collaborated with several notable producers and DJs, such as Armin van Buuren, Schiller , BT, John Creamer & Stephane K and Avicii. Josh Strickland

Josh Strickland has released a follow up to his smash hit single Report to the Floor.

The song, titled "Last Dance" was co-produced by Grammy Award winning producer Damon Elliott and by Norwegian pop/dance producer Axident. The single highlights Strickland's amazing vocals accompanied by an addictive and exotic beat. People thought this song was by Christina Aguilera ft David Guetta but boy where they wrong.

Originally released last May but I'm just finding out about it and I love it. Not to mention Josh Strickland is beautiful. Can't wait for Josh Strickland to release his EP. iTunes - Music - Josh Strickland

Lucy Hale

Has gone from a Pretty Little Liar to a pop star in her latest movie A Cinderella Story: Once Upon A Song. She is showing a side of her not seen before, as a singer. Previous cinderella's have been Hilary Duff and Selena Gomez which is where she started her music career also. Lucy plays the role of Katie a girl who dreams of becoming an artist and has the talent the only thing standing in her way is the step mother. At the end she finds a way to get her record deal and also bags her prince charming.

Lucy performs several songs on the movie but the most memorable are the two she performed for the live show. She performed Bless Myself and Make You Believe. I can't help but wonder if this is the beginning of a music career for Lucy Hale. I'm hoping cuz she ith a good producer I'm sure she'll be a star. Can't wait to see what Lucy Hale decides.

Wynter Gordon

Has made her mark in the dance music world. I first discovered her on David Guetta's track Toyfriend which was an amazing dance hit. Then she released her debut album, With the Music I Die, on June 17,2011 in Australia.

The first single from the album, "Dirty Talk" topped the US (Billboard ) Hot Dance Club Songs and the Australian Singles Chart , and was certified 3x Platinum, The song was released in the UK and Ireland on 18 February 2011 where it peaked eight in Ireland and 25 in the UK. The song spent a total on eleven weeks inside the Top 40.

The second single, " Til Death " has currently peaked on the Australian Singles Chart at 16 and number 3 on the US Dance Chart. She opened for Patrick Stump's second US tour in August and September.

" Buy My Love" was released as the third single from"With The Music I Die" .

July Cruise

Is an up and coming artist that I came across last night. I went to MJ's last night to watch Ryan Adames perform but before he went on stage a beautiful young lady took the stage. It was July Cruise who pulled out some acapella followed by A Song About You which is a remix of Lady GaGa's Judas.

She has such an amazing voice and can hold a note. She definetly has a lot of talent, so I looked her up and found her youtube channel. She has more good songs by her up, a personal favorite besides A Song About You is Sleep Walking In Hollywood for which she filmed a video.

The lyrics are amazing and its a very catchy song. I'm sure ill be seeing more of this amazing artist and I so regret not asking her to take a picture with me last night lol I was too shy. For more on July Cruise you can follow her on twitter @julycruise and LIKE her on Facebook.

Ryan Adames

Last night I had the pleasure of seeing Ryan Adames perform live at MJ's. He came on stage with his back up dancers, you could tell he was ready to kill it. He dedicated his performance to one of his fans who is sick which made the performance even more special. As soon as the beat came on he got to it. The dancing was amazing. His look and the dancers look was edgy and they looked really cute. His voice was amazing and on point. True artists are those who sound good on a song and live therefore Ryan Adames is a true artist. Great Dance, Singer, Song writter, and actor, he is the total package. I'm hoping someday I can do all that he does. Support this great artist and download his new single BANG which features Chris Crocker and Lou. iTunes - Music - Bang (feat. Chris Crocker & Lou) - Single by Ryan Adames I'm hoping to see more from him, he deserves a lot of recognition. Can't wait to catch another great show by Ryan Adames.

Lady GaGa

Has bee dropped by interscope. Well not exactly her latest single Marry The Night has been dropped tho. Watch "Lady Gaga - Marry The Night (Official Video)" on YouTube Interscope has thrown an axe into the Gaga’s latest
single. The recent hit single ‘Marry the Night’ has just been recently dropped from being played on radio stations across the world due to the unsuccessful charting debuts it’s had. ‘Marry the Night’ hadn’t charted in the Top 10 and debuted low in all charts, and being #15 in the UK’s Big Top 40 Charts, the highest it has been. Not sure what this means for GaGa. Perhaps a new label will be coming for GaGa if Interscope don't step up.

Shakira and Miley Cyrus

Are working together? Colombia's belle Shakira and U. S. teen sensation Miley Cyrus have announced they will come together to record a duet, titled "Love & Rock." The single will raise money for children with heart problems, and is due to be released on St. Valentine' s Day. Perfect timing in regards to heart problems. Can't wait to hear and support this single. I'm sure they'll raise a lot of money for the children.
