New music announcement from Kelis. She's got a new album coming out April 22nd tittled FOOD. For those who don't know Kelis is also a legit chef. Kelis decided to part ways with her old label and go with an indie label that gave her the freedom to do music she wants. Food is not a follow up to FLESHTONE the sound is completely different and is very Kelis prior to her Electric music. I was hoping for a Fleshtone like album but knowing Kelis this album will be just as amazing. The first single Jerk Ribs was out on soundcloud for a while and is now available on itunes. Jerk Ribs sets the tone for the Food album which has several songs tittled after foods for example Cobler, Fish Fry, and Biscuit n Gravy. Sounds like a delicious album right?
