Contenders for 54th annual awards revealed
The Grammy Awards won’t take place until February 2012,
but as of today the list of nominees has been announced and
the debate over which artists deserve to take home gold
statuettes can begin.
It’ s no great surprise Adele is one of the
year’s big winners, racking up six nominations including
those for Record of the Year for “Rolling in the Deep” and
Best Solo Performance for “Someone Like You.” Other
musicians riding high today? Kanye West, who nabbed
seven nominations, indie god Bon Iver, Foster The People
and Foo Fighters, all of which are up for multiple awards.
